PRESTRESSED CABLE BODY
Prestressed cable bodies are classified into steel strand cable body, high-strength steel wire cable body,
zinc-5% aluminum-mixed rare earth alloy coated steel strand (Galfan cable), stainless steel strand, sealing
wire rope and steel tie rod.
According to the needs of engineering applications, steel strand cable bodies are classified into split
wire steel strand cable body and finished steel strand cable body.
Finished steel strand cable body:
The finished steel strand cable body is fully sealed and anti-corrosion, a single-layer or double-layer
HDPE sheath can be selected for anti-corrosion, or a double-layer HDPE sheath + polyurea coating for can be
selected for anti-corrosion (the color of the polyurea coating is optional). The polyurea coating with excellent
performance has high tensile strength and impact resistance, and ultra-high wear resistance, aging resistance
and fatigue resistance; moreover, the coating with excellent anti-corrosion properties can resist the corrosion
of high salt, strong acid and strong alkali; meanwhile, the polyurea coating also has fire and flame retardant
properties. The finished steel strand cable body can be used for stay cables, arch bridge hangers, main cables
and slings of suspension bridges, and construction cables.
